Nestled in the scenic surroundings of the Eildon National Park and Cathedral Range, Thornton is a small town along the Goulburn Valley Highway, located approximately 13 kilometers east of Alexandra. The Thornton Recreation Reserve, home to the Thornton Eildon Football Netball Club, serves as a central hub for community sports and activities.

iDwala was engaged to repair and resurface the netball court at the reserve, which had shown significant wear over time. The team applied a high-quality acrylic surface, transforming the court into a safe, durable playing area that meets Netball Victoria’s competition standards.

The end result is a vibrant, long-lasting court that will benefit the club and the broader Thornton community for years to come. iDwala is proud to have contributed to a project that will enhance sporting opportunities for women and girls in Thornton, promoting active and inclusive participation in sport.
